Welcome to our Historic Preservation web page!

The Dixon Historic Preservation Commission is appointed by the Dixon City Council to encourage and provide assistance to property owners in the newly-designated Downtown Historic District before changes are made.

Partnering with Dixon Main Street, our goal is to promote excellence of design and development, provide beneficial services, and encourage development in harmony with the original architecture.
