The Dixon Police Department continues to pursue individuals involved in selling drugs within the Dixon area. The department received information regarding an individual from the Sterling area that was selling cocaine within the City of Dixon.
On August 2nd, 2018, the Dixon Police Department completed the investigation and executed a search warrant in the 1500 block of Freedom Walk. The following individual was arrested for cocaine-related charges.
Dylan R. Villa age 26, of Sterling, Illinois was arrested in the 1500 block of Freedom Walk on August 2nd, 2018. Villa was taken into custody and was transported to the Dixon Police Department. Villa was charged with Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance within 500 Feet of a Nursing Home, (1-15 grams), a Class X Felony, Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, (1-15 grams), a Class 1 Felony, Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 500 Feet of a Nursing Home, a Class 1 Felony, Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 2 Felony, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class 4 Felony. Villa was processed and taken to the Lee County Jail.
