Safe Passages Coordinator/Recovery Coach (FT-Dixon)
We seek a motivating, supportive individual who will work closely with participants wishing to successfully recover from drug and/or alcohol addiction. Responsibilities will include coordinating placement into treatment, transportation to treatment facilities, case management, coordination of care, and recovery coach duties for all program participants in Lee and Whiteside Counties. In addition to these day-to-day duties, this employee will be responsible for creating partnerships with local business for job placement opportunities for program participants and creating housing options for program participants returning from treatment or completing their stay at the local halfway house/sober home/Recovery Home. This employee will coordinate one community event every year on substance use disorders (SUD) in Lee and Whiteside Counties and will create one event a year for SUD in the public high schools in Lee and Whiteside Counties. The employee will coordinate and work closely with the Lee County Crisis Prevention Team, KSB, CGH and participating law enforcement agencies in Lee and Whiteside Counties. Illinois Mental Health Professional (MHP) status required; IAODAPCA certification within 2 years preferred. This is an 18 month grant-funded position. $40,000/year dependent on qualifications.
Fleet/Courier Specialist (FT-Dixon)
Maintain responsibility for Sinnissippi’s 20+ company vehicles. Includes monitoring gas use, inspection due dates, preventive maintenance needs, usage logs and other vehicle related duties. Also runs a courier and supply distribution service to offices within a 4 county area. Assists with general building and grounds maintenance needs in addition to primary duties. $12.00+/hour dependent on qualifications.
Apartment Support Staff (PT)
Part-time opportunities are often available at our apartment sites in Dixon, Sterling, Rochelle or Mt. Carroll. Job duties include supportive interaction with high-functioning adults with mental illness who serve as their own guardians. Specific responsibilities may include skills teaching activities, supportive contact, medication monitoring and other special projects. Experience in a helping role is required. Apartment sites are staffed on a 24/7 basis so varying shifts are available. $10.98+ per hour.
