Orbital Book Group


The Orbital Book Group is for Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Urban Fantasy fans.   Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday night of the month, at 6:00 p.m.   Selections may be Fantasy,  Urban Fantasy, or Science Fiction.

 

January:  TJ Klune - “Under the Whispering Door” 

February:   Read a Hugo - Award winning novel or nominee  from the last 5  years.   Lists of the last few year’s winners will be handed out at the January meeting.

March:  Susanna Clarke - “Piranesi”

April:  Read a diverse Science Fiction, Fantasy, or Urban Fantasy novel. List with suggestions will be handed out at the March meeting.

May:  Becky Chambers - “A Song for the Wild-Built

June:   Read the next book in a series you’ve been meaning to pick back up. 

July:   Terry Brooks - “Child of Light”  (local author)

August:  Read a new release - anything off the new shelf in the Science Fiction/Fantasy section.  Those are loosely the last 4 months of Science Fiction/Fantasy that the library has purchased.

September:   Brandon Sanderson “The Frugal Wizard’s Guide for Surviving Medieval England”

October:   Ray Bradbury - “Something Wicked This Way Comes” 

November - combined meeting.
