This Friday, December 18th, Secure Recycling Services will be hosting a recycling drop off event for Lee County Residents from 9:00AM – 3:00PM. There is no charge for this recycling drop off. SRS is located at 629 Palmyra Road, Dixon, across from “That Place on Palmyra.”
Items that residents can recycle include:
- old electronics (including televisions),
- wire and cable,
- Christmas lights,
- aluminum cans,
- used clothing (including purses, belts and shoes),
- metal
- used books.

The December 18th drop off event at SRS is made possible through an agreement with the Solid Waste Office of Lee County.
